Getting started with Goodnotes

Create your first notebook

  1. Open Goodnotes.
  2. Select New.
  3. Choose a notebook template.
  4. Enter a notebook name.
  5. Select Create.

Write and edit notes

Goodnotes allows users to:
  1. Handwrite notes
  2. Type text
  3. Highlight content
  4. Insert images
  5. Organize notebooks and folders

Organize content

Users can create folders to organize notebooks and documents.

To create a folder:

  1. Go to the library view.
  2. Select New Folder.
  3. Enter a folder name.

Import documents

Users can import PDF files and other supported documents into Goodnotes.

To import a document:

  1. Open the library view.
  2. Select Import.
  3. Choose the file to upload.

Sync your notes

Depending on the platform and account type, Goodnotes may support cloud synchronization across devices.
